Your Role
You will manage projects in the automotive customer business line. These projects are for the proposal, delivery, and implementation of assembly solution to the customer (from single station with assembly tool to more complex projects with jigs, positioning, vision system, semi or full automation, and related software). Coordination with sales, service, and other teams in China and the European headquarters will be required.
Analyze and understand the customer specification and requirement for the new business opportunities.
Propose and quote the right solution by integrating both standard equipment and customized solutions.
Coordinate the successful delivery of the projects with internal and external parties (mechanical design, application engineering, field service engineer, product marketing, etc…), keep customer informed throughout the project
Keep close control of budget, schedule, quality, risk, progress, etc.
Ensure that projects are correctly handed over to the service department when the projects complete.
Handle several projects at the same time.
Implement a process of continuous improvement
You Will Need
A Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (vocational school or technological college background also acceptable)
5+ years of project management experience, or 3+ years of project management experience at the manufacturing industry in B2B. Experience in motor vehicle industry and assembly system is a plus.
Business Level Japanese and English
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritize and to take decisions - manage your own schedule.
Ability to build strong and effective work relationships with customers and colleagues.

Driver's license
Project Management certification
